Meet Dr. Robert A. Nustad

Dr. Robert Nustad

Education:

Dr. Nustad graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in physiology and from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. He completed a one year internship at the Minneapolis Veterans Administrative Hospital and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Employment History:

Dr. Nustad has been with Southeastern Minnesota Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates since 1986.

Clinical Interests:

Dr. Nustads clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery and anesthesia, implant reconstruction, and treatment of skeletal/facial jaw deformities.

Affiliations:

Dr. Nustad is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a past president of the Minnesota society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Midwestern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He currently serves as a delegate to the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons House of Delegates. He has served on hospital and church boards.

Family:

Dr. Nustad and his wife, Sue, have three children.

Hobbies & Interests:

Dr. Nustad enjoys travel, reading, and golfing.
